This past June, I had the honor of participating in the Turium Forum 2025, a prestigious gathering that brings together leading voices in tourism, gastronomy, and culture to reflect on how excellence can drive meaningful transformation in Spain.

One of the most emotional highlights of this year’s edition was the presentation of the Turium Connecting Excellence Award in the Culture category to the incomparable Sara Baras, a global icon of flamenco. Her ability to move audiences, innovate creatively, and elevate Spanish art on the world stage makes her an essential figure in our cultural heritage.

As part of this tribute, I created and gifted Sara an exclusive Menina sculpture made especially for her. The 32 cm resin piece, painted red with white polka dots, is a direct nod to the spirit of flamenco she represents with such strength, elegance, and authenticity.

This sculpture symbolizes the fusion of tradition and modernity — a vision Sara and I both share through our respective artistic paths. It was a true privilege for my work to be part of such a heartfelt and well-deserved recognition.
