I am delighted to present a new way of discovering Poppin, my English bulldog sculpture, which is now making the leap into the digital world through a collection of 100 unique and individual NFTs.
I have always been interested in experimenting with new formats and exploring how my artistic universe can evolve without losing its identity. In this collection, Poppin’s colour, geometry and character are translated into a digital format, giving each piece a personality of its own.
An NFT —Non-Fungible Token— allows a digital artwork to be linked to a unique blockchain record, certifying its authenticity and ownership. What interests me most about this technology is the opportunity to create new ways of experiencing art and to connect the digital world with physical pieces and experiences.
I have created three different series, each offering something unique.
Series 3 consists of 60 NFTs and includes access to experiences related to the collection, the Discord community, my virtual gallery and future releases.
Series 2, limited to 30 pieces, also includes a physical print signed by me featuring the corresponding NFT artwork.
Finally, Series 1 consists of just 10 “Gold Poppin” NFTs and takes the experience one step further: each NFT comes with a physical Poppin sculpture.
With this collection, I want to continue exploring the meeting point between physical and digital art, while preserving the playful, colourful and optimistic spirit that has always defined Poppin.
