Chupa Chups and Felipao: Pop, Colour and Digital Art to Celebrate 25 Years

I am delighted to share my collaboration with Perfetti Van Melle to celebrate 25 years of its international licensing programme, a journey closely connected to Chupa Chups, one of its most recognisable brands worldwide.

To mark this anniversary, I have created a series of exclusive NFTs, conceived as a tribute to the work, dedication and commitment of the licensees who have helped take these brands into new products and markets around the world.

At the heart of the collection is a retro candy machine, surrounded by some of the group’s most iconic brands. From this concept, I developed a specific piece for each region, creating individual digital artworks connected by a common visual language.

In each design, I wanted to incorporate some of the most recognisable elements of my work: pop, colour, geometry and a sense of positive energy. The digital format has also allowed me to explore new creative possibilities and take my artistic language into a different territory.

This collaboration has a particularly special meaning for me because of Chupa Chups’ historic connection with the art world. In 1969, Salvador Dalí created its famous daisy-shaped logo, an image that remains a fundamental part of the brand’s identity. As a great admirer of Dalí, developing a project connected to Chupa Chups adds a very special dimension to this collaboration.

I am very grateful to Perfetti Van Melle for trusting my work to celebrate such an important anniversary and for giving me the opportunity to bring art, technology and brand culture together in a collection created for its partners around the world.
