Pippo and Pippa represent two ways of being that meet, balance one another, and choose to accompany each other. One energy drives forward; the other invites us to pause. They are not opposites or fixed roles, but different ways of inhabiting the world that can coexist within any person.
Together, the sculptures celebrate complicity, freedom, and those relationships in which no one needs to stop being who they are in order to feel part of something shared.
The figures represent two pugs: Pippo, the male, and Pippa, the female.
