This work evokes Corten steel, one of the most important inventions of the last century, especially in navigation.

Each piece presents a unique finish due to the reaction of the reagent when it comes into contact with the microcement mixed with steel particles.

The 21st-century Menina was born from my admiration for Velázquez and from a question:

How can one of the great icons in the history of art be reinterpreted today?

From that idea, I created the first Menina in a polyhedral format, constructed from 448 facets and brought into a contemporary language through geometry and color. A work that unites tradition and innovation, looks toward the future, and preserves the strength of its origins intact. This was the purpose I set myself when creating this work.

All works are signed and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Presented in a custom-made cardboard box, wrapped in a fabric cover.
