Acqua Turquoise

The 21st-century Menina was born from my admiration for Velázquez and from a question:

How can one of the great icons in the history of art be reinterpreted today?

From that idea, I created the first Menina in a polyhedral format, constructed from 448 facets and brought into a contemporary language through geometry and color. A work that brings together tradition and innovation, looks toward the future, and preserves the strength of its origins intact.

This was the purpose I set myself when creating this work.

All works are signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The resin curing process gives each piece a UNIQUE finish. The work will be very SIMILAR to the one shown in the photograph, but NEVER IDENTICAL.

Presented in a custom-made wooden box, wrapped in a fabric cover.

Translucent resin requires a different handcrafted production process from the rest of the collection, so production times may vary slightly.
